Only-WAR Exclusive Guild Interview - Halcyon Affinity!

This time in our Original Only-WAR Exclusive Guild Interviews, we bring you an interview with Halcyon Affinity, an Order guild that's been around since November of 2004!

HA was formed in November of 2004 by long time Everquest raiders and Everquest II Beta testers on the server Antonia Bayle. Our complete domination of that server went unchecked for over a year, and well into the expansions. Contested content was not an issue of server firsts for us anymore, as we competed on the world stage for firsts in raiding, levels, discoveries, and achievements. In SOE Magazine Sony ranked us #3 Worldwide in 2005. After leaving Everquest II, HA has since dominated servers and competed on the world stage in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, World of Warcraft, and recently begun a chapter in Age of Conan. This week’s Guild Highlights feature is Guild Advancement. In Warhammer Online, a guild is not just a group of like-minded players; it’s an entity in itself capable of gaining experience and moving up through the ranks with the aid of its members. Guild Experience Points (GXP) are earned through the actions and accomplishments of the guild’s members. Guild experience points are the equivalent of character experience points. As specific thresholds of prestige points have been accumulated, the guild advances to the next Guild Rank.

With Friday's announcement we know there have been many questions floating around. We've been spending the weekend reading your feedback and questions on these changes and have compiled an FAQ to address many of them.

We will also be posting an FAQ on the changes to Cities as well that will give you more insight in the the mechanics behind the new Campaign system and how we made our decisions.
